Johnston Park McAndrew, a commercial insurance broker located in the Midlands, recently announced it will be moving into more spacious and modern office accommodation as it continues to grow and expand.
Moving into a larger office complex in Halesowen, the business insurance broker has aims to keep 60 staff members busy. Moreover, the firm said that it is redoubling its efforts to become a larger player in the mid-market and small and medium enterprise sectors.
Now based close to Halesowen town centre on New Road, the new site of Johnston Park McAndrew is only two miles from the M5’s Junction 3. David Johnston, managing director for the firm, said that this move put the firm in an excellent position to offer services to clients in the Birmingham area much more easily.
The move also means that the professional indemnity insurance brokers have nearly trebled their floor space to a grand total of 6,600 square feet. Stating that the additional space will allow the firm to take much better advantage of all the different opportunities that have been coming its way, Mr Johnston commented that both acquisition and recruitment activity is likely to row as well.
The managing director also added that the broker’s business has been growing at a rate of more than 20 per cent every year, growing from a six staff member across 600 square feet in 1998 to a total of 28 staff in 2,250 square feet. Mr Johnson also said that, since the firm had completed the move, it was now focusing on persisting in meeting its 20 per cent growth target for the year.
