Commercial insurance brokers open new Gateshead offices

JM Glendinning, a commercial insurance broker based in Yorkshire, has announced the opening of its new Gateshead office in Team Valley on August 1.

The business insurance brokers, which is family owned, began strategic plans to expand in 2009 with the opening of an additional South Yorkshire office.  JM Glendinning also acquired the interest of a Middlesbrough insurance business as part of their expansion plans.

The new Team Valley offices will be captained by Mr Darren McArdle, north east director for JM Glendinning, and the new office will provide broking services to individuals as well as businesses.   With almost two decades of experience in the north east region’s insurance sector, Mr McArdle will be focusing on the food industry and construction sectors, though he will also be utilising his strong expertise in the professional indemnity, business interruption, property, and casualty fields as well.

In a recent statement, Mr McArdle commented on his new appointment, saying that it was key for businesses, individuals, and families to receive the very best intelligent and concentrated solutions in these pressured economic times.  Clients can be assured that they will benefit from JM Glendinning’s special, personalised brand of service, continued Mr McArdle, due to the broking firm’s independent and family owned nature.

The newly appointed north east director also said that the firm’s long-standing track record as an established independent broker will materially benefit the community.  JM Glendinning’s industry contacts and experience will be passed along in order to offer an excellent level of service, he added.

JMG Group managing direct Paul Glendinning, (who is also the son of the firm’s founder) also commented by stating that the group as a whole has the perfect mix of a range of services, independence, and people in order to bring their expertise to a wider audience.
