Keychoice Underwriting has appointed Nick Hall as its newest North and North East region development underwriter. Joining Keychoice from Giles Insurance Brokers, Mr Hall has also previously underwritten for CIGNA and Groupama as well.
Three business development managers have also joined Keychoice. Joining from Facilitas, Steve Cox will be given responsibility for the maintenance and development of relationships with intermediary firms located in the South East.
The Midlands and Wales regions will be provided identical support by Simon Whitmarsh. Mr Whitmarsh has previously provided his expertise for both Broker Direct and UK general prior to joining Keychoice.
Finally Ming Wan joins Keychoice as its third business development manager, focusing on the North West region. Mr Wan was a previous business development specialist and underwriter for RSA prior to joining the underwriting firm.
Keychoice Underwriting managing director, Jonathan Davey, commented on the new appointments by remarking that the firm is focused on forging true partnerships with its brokers in order to help them expand their businesses. Since August of 2010, Keychoice Underwriting’s launch date, the company has experienced positive broker feedback, and Mr Davey stressed the importance of continuing to support the needs of their brokers to the utmost as business growth continues.
The managing director also said that the firm was improving its broker proposition by recruiting highly talented and experienced people. Doing so will only lead to a strengthening of its current relationships, Mr Davey added, as he expressed his delight in welcoming all four of the newly appointed professionals to the team.
