One of the largest business insurance brokers in the UK recently announced it will be partnering with an insurance comparison site in order to provided a fully tailored and integrated service for small business insurance policyholders.
Insurance broker Simply Business will be managing the comparison site’s commercial insurance customers through the use of a tailored white label solution fully integrated into the site. This will permit the comparison site to offer attractive propositions to customers with a wide range of business insurance needs seamlessly and end-to-end, industry experts said.
The new partnership also benefits Simply Business greatly through granting it a more competitive position within the insurance market, as its can now be made more visible to the 30 million customers of the comparison site. Consumers can now benefit from the broker’s selection of competitively priced bespoke insurance offerings in an online setting, said Simply Business chief executive, Jason Stockwood.
Mr Stockwood also said that his firm has the ability to provide bespoke cover for a wide range of trades, and thanks to this new partnership, comparison site customers can now benefit from the expertise of Simply Business while also enjoying a consistently complete consumer experience from end to end. The broker is focused on using its technological capabilities to grow its online traffic stream, the chief executive added, and with such a large number of firms now making insurance decisions based on comparison sites, the new partnership will permit Simply Business to reach a much wider audience and thus maximise its GWP forecast.
A spokesperson for the price comparison site in question also commented, remarking that Simply Business will allow the site to offer an overall better service to its customers.
